Network topology is a way to connect computers to each other to form a network.







The purpose of the network 

The purpose of the network is the computer in order to achieve its goals, any part of the computer network may request and provide the service (service).




In the selection of the topology must consider several factors, this will affect the quality, effectiveness and efficiency, these factors include the following :



1. Cost
2. Speed
3. Environment
4. Size
5. Connectivity

Network topology itself is divided into two, namely:

1. Physical. A physical description of the relationship 
    between devices (computers, servers, hubs, switches, 
    and network cable) that form a particular pattern.


2. Logical. A description of how a device can communicate 
    with other devices.
